Tap commences in the Debut Dance class (age 3 up).

Tap begins at the start in our debut dance class. From age three upwards, pupils are given an initiation in rhythm and stepping in time, so that once they have graduated to the Pre Primary class they will be able to master the steps necessary for their first examination. During tap class, dancers beat out different rhythms with their tap shoes which have small metal plates on the toe and heel which give the distinctive sound. Tap dance is a theatrical art form often seen on stage in musicals.
